The Malaysian Spa Festival at Thermae Bath Spa brings together two great spa cultures. Choose from a range of traditional Malaysian spa treatments and enjoy the naturally warm, mineral-rich waters as the Celts and Romans did over 2,000 years ago.
Thermae Bath Spa is a remarkable combination of 'old and new' where historic spa buildings blend with the contemporary design of the New Royal Bath. In the heart of the World Heritage Site, Thermae is an award-winning Natural Spa where you can bathe in the thermal waters of the Minerva Bath and open-air rooftop pool, refresh your senses in the aroma steam rooms and choose from over 50 spa treatments.
The New Royal Bath is a fusion of glass, stone, light and water, which creates a special setting in which to enjoy a spa session. Included in a 2-hour, 4-hour or full day spa session is access to the following:
Named after the Roman Goddess of Health and Wisdom, this is the largest of the thermal baths. Distinguished by its flowing curves and grand columns, the thermal waters are complemented by an invigorating massage jet and whirlpool.
Breathe in the soothing vapours of the steam rooms, each of which is infused with an aromatic essence such as frankincense or eucalyptus mint. A central 'waterfall' shower, interspersed with fibre optic lighting provides a variety of sensations from the lightest misting of water to a tropical shower. A series of foot baths offer a gentle water massage.
By day and by night, enjoy spectacular views over the City of Bath and surrounding hills. The naturally warm, mineral-rich waters are enhanced by air seats and bubbling jets.
This light, airy Restaurant serves a selection of tasty meals, snacks, drinks and refreshments. During the period of the Malaysian Spa Festival, a chef from Spa Village in Malaysia will be preparing a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian specialities.
